Good Times on the Guadalupe

It’s our favorite time of year — time for the Austin/San Antonio river float! Last year we enjoyed floating the Guadalupe River, and we couldn’t wait to do it again.

The entire day was a blast, from the first dip into the cold water of the Guadalupe to having a dance party with some of the other floaters! Our team brought along their spouses, and we enjoyed delicious burgers and libations at River Rose Tavern. It was a lively and festive day full of laughs, although our Project Manager, Mike, did manage to get some well-deserved shut-eye in his tube!

Days like these are so important to us at Low Voltage Solutions. Caring for our employees goes beyond paychecks. It’s about caring for their entire well-being. Doing fun things together and getting to know one another on a personal level creates a stronger, more thoughtful work environment. We love our employees and want them to feel fulfilled at LVS. Plus, we believe that when we enjoy our jobs, we do better work. So investing in our employees even benefits our clients, who get to reap the rewards of a team working at its best.

Our President, Micah Pazoureck, puts it this way: “A company has to take care of its employees, period. We do not have a transactional relationship with our staff — people are not commodities to be bought from a shelf! We invest in our employees and place emphasis on building personal relationships throughout their careers. We understand that what you get out of something comes from what you put into it.”
